Elemi CO2 Extract
Offering a fresh, green top note with undertones reminiscent of Pink Pepper, Elemi CO2 Extract makes a wonderfully complex addition to your collection. Sourced from the Philippines through CO2 extraction of the plant’s gum resin, this oil has a cleaner, longer-lasting aromatic profile than its essential oil cousin.
Due to its calming and relaxing scent, Elemi CO2 Extract is a great oil to use aromatically when you’re feeling stressed. You can diffuse using 2-3 drops per 100 mL of water in your NovaFuse or use in a personal inhaler. Build your new favorite blend by adding a few drops of this fresh and peppery oil to Lemon or Orange Essential Oils. Citrus not your favorite? More blending suggestions are listed below!
Elemi CO2 Extract is also a relative of Frankincense, making it an excellent addition to age-defying and rejuvenating skincare products. Use this extract to add a fresh note to woody, spicy, or zesty perfumes or for masculine fragrances and products. Try using this fresh and peppery oil in DIY cologne, after-shave, or roll-ons. To use topically, dilute to 1-2% in your favorite carrier oil.

Gorgeous Glow Oil Cleanser DIY
What you’ll need:
- 4 tsp Grapeseed Oil
- 2 tsp Hemp Seed Oil
- 5 drops Elemi CO2 Extract
- 3 drops Sweet Orange
- 1 drops Virginian Cedarwood
What you’ll do:
Combine carrier oils and essential oils in a one-ounce bottle. Massage a few drops onto skin in the morning to help remove makeup and lift dirt and excess oil. Rinse well. Follow up with a water-based cleanser to remove any remaining oil. Finish with your favorite moisturizer.
