Palmarosa has a soft, sweet floral scent and is often diffused to freshen up and sanitize the air. It is also considered to be an excellent skin-balancing oil for all skin types, much like Neroli essential oil. It is a marvelous oil for supporting digestive health.

Palmarosa is also viewed as helpful in uplifting and steadying the emotions. Palmarosa is also a wonderful oil to consider pulling out of the oil box when seasonal illness strikes.

Diffuse Palmarosa oil during times of seasonal illness. Add a drop of Palmarosa to your favorite skin moisturizer or body lotion for skin balancing and toning action. Add 2-3 drops of Palmarosa to a tablespoon of carrier oil and massage the abdomen in a clockwise motion to ease uncomfortable symptoms.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

5.0 5  Floral and woodsy

Sometimes Rose is way too strong; palmarosa seems to me like a woodier version of a floral. Blended with bergamot, it is light and refreshing without being syrupy sweet.

2.0 5  I can't stand the smell

I ordered this because it said it was a floral smell so I was going to diffuse it to make my home smell fresh, but it is way too strong and has more of a wood smell.

recommend  No, I wouldn't recommend this to a friend.

5.0 5  Rose scent

I just got to try this oil and I love it. It smells like roses and wood to me. I used it in a bug repelling blend and it seemed to work to keep the mosquitoes away.

4.0 5  A little goes a long way

You don't need much to have the scent come across. It's a little strong for me, but when I only use 1-2 drops in the diffuser it sure is lovely!

5.0 5  Palmarosa Essential Oil

I was a little skeptical about ordering this oil because I thought it would have an over powering rose scent. I was sure wrong. I smell the rose but barely. This is a nice smelling oil and I think it will blend well with other oils or be just fine on its own. Very happy! I'm sure loving Plant Therapy oils. They are a nice quality and are reasonably priced!
