Myrrh is familiar to many as it is one of the traditional resinous gifts mentioned in the Bible. Its amber scent creates a warm, calming environment. Myrrh is often used during meditation to create a relaxing and uplifting atmosphere
When diffused, Myrrh can help relieve nervous tension and bring about feelings of strength. Myrrh is also wonderful for helping mature skin issues such as redness and reducing the appearance of wrinkles and scars when added to a carrier oil or lotion. Also, in an oral blend, a myrrh gargle or mouth rinse can help support gum health.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

To begin, please know that this essential oil is thick. When you tip the bottle over, it takes a little bit of time for that drop to come out. Nothing wrong with the oil, myrrh is just thicker than most. I did actually use myrrh when treating a "female" issue. I found an essential oil remedy for inflammation and discomfort. I actually began the remedy with only tea tree oil and lavender mixed into water, but then found a remedy in one of my books that highly recommended adding a few drops of myrrh to relieve the inflammation. IT WORKED. By adding the myrrh, the inflammation was reduced CONSIDERABLY. The other oils were working fine, but when the myrrh was added, the inflammation was relieved almost immediately. I am sold on this myrrh. Yes, I do indeed recommend.

Magical myrrh

Very nice spicy smell and thick consistency, as it should be. Great added in my face oil for anti-aging and antioxidant properties and aids in healing dull dry skin. Liquid gold.

Big Fan
