A couple of days ago we made a luxurious milk bath. Nothing makes me feel cozier on a cold winter’s day than soaking in a warm bath for a little bit. I hope this helps you unwind and relax – Now let’s check out how to make a nourishing oatmeal bath! Once you’ve made it – you may decide it’s too great to give away as a gift! *Update: Always dilute your essential oils in either a carrier oil or a liquid soap.
What you’ll need:
- 3 cups oatmeal
- 1 cup epsom salt
- Lavender and Orange essential oils
- 1 tbsp Fractionated Coconut Oil
- 1 quart jar, with lid
What you’ll do:
- Add oatmeal and epsom salt to blender or food processor
- Measure out 1 tbsp coconut oil into a shot glass or small dish
- Add 1 mL (this is about 20 drops) EACH lavender and orange to coconut oil in shot glass
- As food processor is running, slowly pour oil mixture into dry ingredients
- Package in quart jar with lid
*To use, add 1/4 – 1/2 cup of the oatmeal mixture to running bath water. Relax and soak away your troubles!
