Our Oil of the Month Club is back with another amazing and completely unique essential oil! Woodland Co-Extraction is made with a unique extraction process to create a deep, rich, smokey essential oil.
*Don’t have Woodland Co-Extraction? Make sure to become an Oil of the Month member to get unique, monthly surprises to your door every month!
Woodland starts with a co-extraction of Virginian Cedarwood essential oil and a French Pine resinoid. The unusual process of co-extraction results in a deep, rich, smokey aroma with fruity black currant top notes and fir and balsamic undertones. This rich aroma makes it ideal as a base note when combined with other woodsy or floral oils.
Reminiscent of sitting outdoors around a fire, Woodland is perfect for the winter season (or any season you want that deep, smokey aroma) and for DIY men’s body products. It can be used in a beard balm, aftershave or moisturizer. In addition to providing a lovely masculine scent, it’s also beneficial for helping rough and reddened skin. If you’re suffering from the dreaded chapped winter skin, dilute to 2-4% in a carrier oil or lotion and apply to affected areas to help speed up relief.
Woodland can also help ease congestion and support a healthy respiratory system, which is much needed during the winter months. Add a few drops to your diffuser or dilute in a carrier oil to create a chest rub and enjoy the respiratory benefits next time you’re feeling stuffed up.
