Vetiver Essential Oil Product Template Sheet

Vetiver is a root oil that is jam packed with therapeutic properties. This oil is known for its abilities to promote relaxation and balance. Vetiver is very popular to use before bedtime to help calm the mind. It has a very strong aroma that has a earthy, woodsy, smoky scent, but is pleasant to the senses.

Vetiver has been used in natural perfumery for years because of its unique aroma and only a little is needed to smell that amazing scent. It is gentle and effective to help skin blemishes, supports a healthy immune system, and a little goes a long way.

Add a drop to your favorite aromatherapy diffuser, personal inhaler, or diffuser necklace and breathe in 30 minutes prior to bed to help calm the mind. Add a drop to your favorite face wash to help fight skin blemishes.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

I LOVE this oil. I combine it with Valerian and Lavender and put it on the bottom of my feet at night before bed. I call it my "stinky feet" oil because it does NOT smell good. What it does is two fold. First, within approximately 5 minutes, it calms my restless leg syndrome and my legs stop twitching. For those of you who suffer from this, you know how annoying the twitching is. It is amazing how quickly it helps. Second, this blend helps me sleep. It doesn't make me fall asleep, but it makes my sleep deeper. I am a super light sleeper and wake several times per night to go to the bathroom, turnover, or whatever and have multiple mini dreams all night. After putting this blend on the bottom of my feet, I sleep so deep that I dream all night and either wake up once or not at all. I never knew what sleeping a full 8 hours meant until I applied this blend to my feet. I love it and highly recommend it.

This is one of my favorite oils. I am a nurse and I care for dementia patients. This oil dabbed on the neck, temples, wrists has such a calming effect on anxiety. And I use it diluted on my wrinkles and I do believe I can see a difference (I\'m 51). I use it before going to bed and I really think it helps me sleep better, too. I can usually only sleep for 3-4 hours, but I think this is helping me to stay asleep longer. And personally I LOVE the smell of it, too.

This oil is amazing. Seriously if I diffuse it my husband will nod off mid sentence. My kids are, knocked out in 10 MINUTES. its a thick oil so you might have to warm a little to get it out.

Vetiver seems to be notorious for smelling "odd" - some think it smells terrible! - but PT's vetiver has a lovely, woodsy scent reminiscent to me of moss and campfire smoke. It's a great addition to the oils I use at home; I blend it with lavender in an inhaler and am passed out asleep soon after. One tip: it's a thick oil and can be tricky to get out of the bottle with the reducer cap. I just hold the bottle under my arm for a minute to warm it up and the drops come out easily!
