Thyme Thymol is one of the very best essential oils for supporting the immune system and for tonifying the circulation. It can be used to help resolve skin problems that may be acquired during a hospital stay. Thyme oil can also be useful in support of a clear respiratory tract; diffuse a drop or two during times of seasonal illness. Like many of the herb and spice oils, thyme can be beneficial for occasional digestive upset.
Thyme Thymol can help aid normal digestion. During an instance of tummy upset, well-diluted thyme (one drop in one teaspoon of carrier) can be rubbed in a gentle clockwise motion on the abdomen. During times of seasonal illness, thyme can be placed in the diffuser (no more than 3 drops) along with rosalina, spruce, or fir needle to help ease congestion and promote better air quality. If you have been hospitalized, once you are home and have been cleared to shower, consider adding 9 drops per each ounce of liquid body wash to help your skin feel free of “hospital smell”.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

5.0 5  Perfect for DIY cleaner

I cannot live without this oil. I use it in my DIY multipurpose disinfecting spray. The smell is not my favorite but I don't buy it for the smell but for its antibacterial properties. I mix in my DIY clean Air blend to help make the scent more pleasing. This is a must have oil in my house.

5.0 5  Love the smell

I received this oil yesterday and immediately put a drop in the respiratory blend in my diffuser. Wow! I love the herby smell of this and it really helped to boost the effectiveness of the blend I was using.

5.0 5  I've used this in very strep throat/ sickness blend lately!

I bought this at the end of November. I have a lot of oil's to work with, but just realized it's almost gone! I get sick very easy, with a low immune system to say the least. This was my first 10ml bottle. Next time I'll get the big bottle! Having strep throat this past week definitely showed me the oils that help me the most.

4.0 5  It seems to really work

This was my first time purchasing Thyme thymol. I personally hate the smell of Thyme essential oil, but as cold and flu season is here, I thought it would be a good oil to have on hand. Sure enough, when my thyme oil arrived today I was in the middle of my first sickness of the season, running a 102 temperature. I've been diffusing the oil on and off during the day and I can't say that I like the scent, but I do feel like it's helping me "get over the hump" with a fever I have had for three days.
