Thyme Linalool Product Sheet

Thyme linalool — also known as Sweet Thyme — is gentler than other well-known Thyme chemotypes such as Thyme Thymol. However, this lesser-known oil is quite versatile and when diluted properly (up to 4.5%), it can be safely used on the skin. Because of its gentle nature, Thyme linalool is an excellent component in facial toners and cleansers. Unlike some other germ-fighting oils, it will help soothe problem skin without causing irritation. Thyme linalool has a woody, herbaceous scent and is often diffused to aid in respiration and digestion or to help ward off seasonal illness. It can also provide a much-needed boost to the immune system after a hospital stay or antibiotic treatment.
Dilute Thyme linalool with a carrier oil of your choice to a maximum of 4.5% for topical use. To help with digestion, add one drop to a teaspoon of carrier oil rub gently in a clockwise motion on the abdomen. To support the immune system, diffuse Thyme linalool with other herbaceous scents such as Marjoram or Rosemary.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

This statement has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

5.0 5  A staple in my home and business

Thyme Linalool has been an indispensable ingredient in my homemade mat and equipment cleaner in my Pilates studio. I also use it in disinfecting bathroom and kitchen cleaning blends, and in an antibacterial hand gel. It smells fresh and exciting to me, even after using it regularly for almost 2 years. Thanks, Plant Therapy!

5.0 5  Just like the plant!

Sometimes you get an oil and it smells nothing like the plant that it comes from. Not thyme. It is heavenly. I diffuse it with just a bit of dill and the house smells like you are cooking something delicious! I\'ve also used it to rub on my foot that has chronic tendinitis. It makes my foot feel better and I smell good!

5.0 5  Stop snoring

I purchased this because I researched that thyme can help snorers. I made a roller for my husband to roll on his feet. Two nights no sawing logs!! Just some light heavy breathing which stops after a few breaths.

4.0 5  Love..but broke:(

I love the smell of this oil...unfortunately I didnt get a chance to use it. Upon arrival, I took it out of the box and accidentally dropped my 3 oz. bottle on the floor...which smashed. We did smell it on the floor for a bit after removal. :(
