Large amounts can be neurotoxic. We recommend a maximum dilution of 0.4% for topical applications. Must NOT be used while pregnant or breastfeeding.

Sage (Dalmation) is a very potent essential oil which needs to be approached with care. Like many herb and spice oils, it can be helpful with digestive upset. Please consult with our Aromatherapists (aromatherapist@planttherapy.com) if you need help deciding if Sage is right for your situation.
To help with digestive upset, dilute heavily (no stronger than 0.4%) and rub on the abdomen in a clockwise fashion.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

Sage

I really love Sage and use it a lot! I love mixing my Sage with Clary Sage and Rosemary and sometimes include lavender for a very nice house spray. Love it!

I didn't like the plane sage as much as the Cleary Sage and had to mix it with some other oils in order to use it.
