Ravintsara Essential Oil originates from Madagascar and is extracted using steam distillation from the leaves of the large, evergreen Ravintsara tree.
Ravintsara, not to be confused with Ravensara, is a versatile essential oil that can be helpful with areas of discomfort. It has a fresh, sharp, medicinal smell that is similar to Eucalyptus. This oil is a go to for chest congestion, stuffiness, and tickly throats, due to its 1,8 Cineole content. It helps with discomfort in the legs and arms, as well sore muscles from overexertion. This essential oil is a powerhouse against skin issues and helps to promote natural healing of minor wounds.
Due to its high content level of 1,8 Cineole, it is not an essential oil recommended for small children. Ravintsara is a great essential oil to support a healthy respiratory system as well as a healthy immune system. Ravintsara promotes positive thinking and can be helpful with cognitive performance, focus, and soothe worries and fear.
