Patchouli became famous during the 1960s in the United States as a favorite scent of young counter-culture people, but it has been used as a scent in Asia for centuries. It is best known for its skin care applications. When added to a carrier oil, it can help with the appearance of skin wrinkles, scars, and skin blemishes and it’s a wonderful addition to a man’s deodorant formula. When diffused, Patchouli can help alleviate nervous tension and worry and is a soothing oil to diffuse during meditation.
Focus your mind during meditation by diffusing 1 drop of patchouli with 1 drop of sweet basil. Patchouli is very useful as part of a blend to combat shoe and foot odor. Fill an old tube sock with baking soda; add lemon and patchouli oils to baking soda and tuck sock into the shoe; leave for 12-24 hrs.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

5.0 5  Love

It is definitely an interesting smell, but it’s growing on me and I kind of love it now. I’ve been using it to help with wrinkles and skin blemishes, but also discovered it had been helping with nervous tension as well. Love that is has multiple purposes.

5.0 5  Nice

I usually don't like patchouli. PT's doesn't smell "dirty" as some other brands I have smelled. It is nice to mix with a floral scent, as sometimes those scents can be overwhelming for me. I was surprised as I thought I would hate the smell!

This oil smells so good and blends well with Bergamot, Cypress, and Orange! I've ordered Patchouli from other reputable companies and I like Plant Therapy's the best!

5.0 5  Love Patchouli

Patchouli has been a favorite of mine since I discovered it as a teen at a mall kiosk in the 90s. Very grounding & calming. I randomly added patchouli, lemongrass, lavender, and sweet orange to my diffuser the other day and it was great!
