5.0 5  A rash and a headache...

First of all this oil smells so good, but I love peppermint. I'm fairly new to essential oils and I purchased the 30ml of organic peppermint to use as a flavoring in oil pulling tabs to take the coconut taste out of the coconut oil and hoping to make it more bearable for my husband who hates the flavor of coconut oil. It worked! It didn't have an overpowering peppermint flavor but you couldn't really taste the coconut either so that was a win. Then, one morning my daughter (13 yes old) woke up with an itchy rash all over her body. I looked up online and found I could try putting diluted peppermint oil on the rash to help with the itching. So, I mixed the peppermint oil with some jojoba oil and covered the rash that was all over her back. Instantly the itchiness subsided where I had applied the oils and she was a happy camper. She used the oil throughout the day as the rash would calm and flare on different parts of her body. The second day we added some lavender with the jojoba and the peppermint and that worked even better. So thankful! I also had a headache the other night and wasnt getting fast relief so I applied some peppermint oil to my temples and instantly got relief and by the time the cooling effect wore off the extra pain pills had kicked in and no more headache. However, I had another headache last night and it didn't help as quickly the second time but it was a different headache and different situation but i'm glad to have it in my arsenal!
