Manuka Essential Oil Product Sheet

Manuka Oil has been treasured for centuries by the Maori people, who are indigenous to New Zealand, where the low shrub originates. Although the plant is sometimes called a "tea tree," Manuka Oil differs in composition, source, and origin from the well-known Tea Tree Oil. Like Tea Tree Oil, however, Manuka Oil has many wonderful uses on the skin, including calming red, inflamed areas and soothing irritation caused by nature's pests.

Manuka Oil can also help restore dry scalp and nails to vibrancy. For those who struggle with reactions to irritants in the atmosphere, Manuka Oil can help to neutralize these effects. It also provides relief for discomfort caused by seasonal illness. For the mind, Manuka Oil's sweet, herbaceous aroma is calming, p articularly during times of extra worry.

Use Manuka Oil in salves, balms and ointments designed to sooth red, swollen skin. To deodorize, relax and cleanse feet, add a few drops of Manuka Oil to an epsom salt foot bath. You can also add Manuka Oil to body wash or bath oil blends, and you can add it to shampoo to help combat dry itchy scalp. Diffuse Manuka Oil to help restore emotional balance.

5.0 5  My new favorite

I heard that some people don't like the scent, but I absolutely adore it! I add it to my unscented shampoo and my hair or scalp haven't been dry since. Very please with this oil!

5.0 5  Calming

Manuka is a little different, but, adds so much substance if combined. One of my favorites is equal parts of Manuka, Juniper Berry and Cedarwood V, with smaller amounts of Lime and Jasmine. Manuka will always be a staple in my collection.

2.0 5  Not a winner for me...

Unfortunately, Manuka is the only oil I have thus far that I cannot get in to. I was excited about it, as it has been called the “Swiss army knife of essential oils”. I anticipated using it as a replacement for other oils in my *ahem* attempts at minimizing how many oils I had in my collection (ha, I still would’ve bought more). I will try some more blending with it to see if I can tone down the strength of the smell.

recommend  No, I wouldn't recommend this to a friend.

1.0 5  Wasnt as expected. I've had Manuka before.

I wasnt happy with this Manuka. Something tells me PT hasnt got this one together. I've had Manuka before. I tried PT as it's been hard for me to find. Wasnt effective and wasnt strong as I've had before. Maybe this one will get figured out. I wont by this Manuka again. I still love other oils from Plant Therapy.
