Manuka Essential Oil Product Template Sheet

Manuka Oil has been treasured for centuries by the Maori people, who are indigenous to New Zealand, where the low shrub originates. Although the plant is sometimes called a "tea tree," Manuka Oil differs in composition, source, and origin from the well-known Tea Tree Oil. Like Tea Tree Oil, however, Manuka Oil has many wonderful uses on the skin, including calming red, inflamed areas and soothing irritation caused by nature's pests. Manuka Oil can also help restore dry scalp and nails to vibrancy. For those who struggle with reactions to irritants in the atmosphere, Manuka Oil can help to neutralize these effects. It also provides relief for discomfort caused by seasonal illness. For the mind, Manuka Oil's sweet, herbaceous aroma is calming, particularly during times of extra worry.
Use Manuka Oil in salves, balms and ointments designed to sooth red, swollen skin. To deodorize, relax and cleanse feet, add a few drops of Manuka Oil to an epsom salt foot bath. You can also add Manuka Oil to body wash or bath oil blends, and you can add it to shampoo to help combat dry itchy scalp. Diffuse Manuka Oil to help restore emotional balance.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

5.0 5  Awesome!

I use this in place/addition to Tea Tree oil so it gets used a lot. Great for skin irritations along with lavender.

5.0 5  Wonderful replacement for Tea Tree

I'm not a fan of the smell of Tea Tree but I am a very big fan of it's properties, so when I came across this I really wanted to try it, but the price always turned me away. During the July Appreciation Month I went ahead and took advantage of the 20% discount and bought it, and I am so glad I did! The smell is a cross between bubble gum and dirt, if that makes any sense. It's a scent that's hard to explain, but it has a sweet, yet earthy smell, it's unlike any other oil I've come across and it's one that I really enjoy. I also bought PT's foaming dispensers and Castile soap and I have made hand soap with them for both my bathrooms and my kitchen, and I use Manuka oil in each dispenser and I love the way my hands smell afterwards and it's also helped in healing my 4 year old's eczema on her wrists. This oil is a must have now, and I will be sure to always have it on hand.

5.0 5  Smells Like Home

As a born and bred New Zealander living overseas, as soon as I saw that there was a Manuka oil, I felt drawn to have it. I loooooove it!! It smells like the forests I used to walk through as a kid - a woody smell that is very comforting and calming to me. I use it in my homemade cleaning spray and just diffuse it. Love it so much!

5.0 5  Works great

Not crazy about the smell but it is not as strong as tea tree oil smell (which I hate). I added a few drops to a bottle of my shampoo and to my body wash. Love how it works on both! wish it were not so expensive but I could understand why it is.
