The moment I opened this bottle, I fell instantly in love--can one fall in love with an EO? I think so! Here's why: It has a remarkably fresh, crisp, and tangy lemony aroma I found myself wanting to do numerous things with it. Guess what? I was able to do so, as this outstanding oil not only has many brilliant benefits health and cleaning-wise, but it is also NOT phototoxic, as it is STEAM DISTILLED! It's phenomenal!

Yes! I was looking to make body butter with my favorite lemon oil but realized it was photo-toxic and was bummed.....until I saw THIS!! I quickly ordered it and hoped it would be all that I hoped it would. When it arrived I opened the bottle and the first wiff was HEAVEN!!!! It's light and sweet and reminds me of my favorite candy...LEMON HEADS! It's so uplifting and fresh smelling compared to the cold pressed lemon which is tart and more like lemon juice. Both are amazing oils but this might be my new favorite knowing it's NOT photo-toxic. THANKS PLANT THERAPY!!!!

I got this because steam distilled citrus oils are supposed to be a lot less likely than cold pressed oils to contain any remaining impurities like pesticide residues, and they're also non-photo-toxic. I wasn't sure what difference to expect in the scent, but it seems that this, like the lime steam distilled, are sharper smelling and smell more like citrus leaves than the fruit peels to me. That's not a bad thing, it's just different and gives you more options for getting the benefits of these oils.

I bought the smaller version of this oil and now the large one. So many uses for this, cooking, put in your water, cleans goo off labels.. just the best for cleaning too!
