How to Use

Diffuse into the air to help freshen the atmosphere. Add Lemon to your favorite cleaning product and use to clean surfaces. Use 1-2 drops to remove oil, gum, adhesives, and crayons from most surfaces.

Aromatic: Diffuse using 3-4 drops per 100 mL of water or use in a personal inhaler.
Topical: Dilute to 1-2% in a carrier.

Lemon Essential Oil is phototoxic. Do not exceed 2% in leave-on topical formulations. If used above the maximum safe topical level, avoid sunlight or UV exposure on applied skin for at least 12 hours.

Q&A

I use this to make my foaming hand soap.I also use 1 tablespoon of glycerin,1 tablespoon of fractionated coconut oil & distilled water. I’m not very familiar with the lemon oil being phototoxic when applied topically so if I use this kids safe lemon oil is it age to use in my homemade foaming hand soap for adults & children? I usually add about 20 drops to my foaming hand soap when I make it.
Thank you for asking. Both of our Lemons are Kidsafe, the one you want to use is Lemon Steam Distilled Essential Oil. The reason why is the photo-toxicity is taken out of this one. So you dont have to worry about the sun with this one. We hope this helps!
