3.0 5  Island Sunset

I am trying to find a way to enjoy this. It smells bad in the diffuser like something is burning. so diffusing is ruled out. Body use is ruled out as it is not for topical use. From the bottle it’s quite nice. It is almost ”coconutty’

1.0 5  Not my favorite spring blend

This blend is much better with the OOTM or more citrus added to it but it still has this burnt like scent at the end.

3.0 5  Nice but not my favorite of the Spring Blends

This oil is nice but not my favorite of the Spring Blends. I cant put my nose on which oil is off putting to me but I expected a more Citrus heavy blend. That's just my nose talking, yours may truly love this blend!

2.0 5  Too much balsamic note makes it boring

I got the oil as a spring set, and I can’t use cedarwood, so I was paying extra couple of dollars to get the entire set in order to experience the blending artwork of Plant Therapy with the intention of gifting/trading the rest of the bottle. So my review is based on a single exposure experience, not from continued use. I will never know if this is an oil you grow to love. My impression of the whiff of it and and passive diffusion is that it’s too much wood/balsamic oils. There’s quite an overlap of aroma between Peru balsam and copaiba, and then the woody backgrounds of two that could add complexity overlap with cedarwood, and my impression overall is that this is much too similar to those citrus-cream type blends made from mix of citrus oils and Peru balsam (due to vanilla being too expensive), just this one has much more balsamic and much less citrus (orange being the sole citrus). Balsamic aroma sure fits the dusky theme of the name, but I don’t think this oil stands out equally like rest of the spring set. It’s not so much “spring” and it’s surely boring - it’d be easy to create similar aroma by blending up components. Also, the tropical theme that PT is going for quite doesn’t fan out - not enough brightness in the blend. I think “tropical” is a very difficult profile to achieve with essential oils alone, and this blend is too simple for that ambitious description. At least, the one oil I’m disappointed from the spring set is the oil I knew I was going to trade away anyway. It would’ve been hard to let go of it if I loved it!
