Get Em Gone Product Sheet

Keep your children free from the telltale, constant scalp-scratching we have all come to dread with Get 'Em Gone. Using essential oils known to effectively clean the hair and scalp to stop the itch, this powerful synergy removes the problem at its source without using harmful toxic chemicals.

This essential oil synergy is part of Plant Therapy's KidSafe line and is the only product of its kind formulated by Robert Tisserand, a world-renowned expert in essential oil safety.

All of the oils in Get 'Em Gone are 100% natural, gentle, and safe to use on children ages 2-10.

To learn more about our Get 'Em Gone blend's uses and benefits, check out our Get 'Em Gone blend essential oil spotlight blog post.
Add 7 drops of Get 'Em Gone to one teaspoon of shampoo, and thoroughly massage into your child's hair and scalp. Use a fine-toothed comb to spread the shampoo, let sit in hair for 15 minutes, then rinse and repeat if necessary.

Alternatively, add 2% of Get 'Em Gone and 1% Polysorbate or Solubol to 4 oz. of water, shake liberally to mix, then spray your child's hair and scalp each morning. Don't rinse, but let hair dry and keep the mixture on all day. This may also be used for prevention when children have friends or classmates with unusually itchy scalps.

*Plant Therapy recommends using an emulsifier, such as Polysorbate or Solubol, when blending any essential oils with water.

The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that essential oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a medical doctor who is also qualified in clinical aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

This statement has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Bottles are filled by volume. Some bottle sizes may not be filled to the top, but do contain the volume of oil specified.

3.0 5  Lemon Scent Pledge

Lice started going around at school with my daughter's friends. I thought I'd take the proactive approach and make a spray for our hair, I'm also in a classroom too, in hopes of not bringing it home. The only way I could stand this in my hair was if I threw it up in a messy bun. I felt like I smelled like a walking commercial for Lemon Scent Pledge furniture polish that I remember my mom using in the 80s. This will only ever get used if we actually have to use it to get em gone.

4.0 5  Strong citronella scent

The scent is a bit hard to get past, but it seems to help.

5.0 5  Great blend!

I originally bought this oil following a lice scare. BUT I recently read the list of ingredients, and it is a close match to what I blend for my homemade insect repellent. Super excited that this product will help reduce the amount of time I need to make my repellent.

3.0 5  Stinks!

The citronella is so prominent in this blend! I'm guessing if you can get past that it would be useful. Even my 3 year old (I got it for her for prevention during breakouts at school) says it stinks and almost crys when I put it on her. I gifted the rest of mine to a friend with a daycare to spray after the kiddos leave. I would recommend only using this if you have a breakout not for prevention like we wanted it for. Unless you like citronella. :)

recommend  No, I wouldn't recommend this to a friend.

5.0 5  Stop the itch

Got this mainly for stopping scalp itching and scratching. I received it but have not used it yet. I am anxious to see if it stops itching as well as other reviews say.

recommend  Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
