Strange outcome, and inconvenient

"Bought to use for shampooing my children's hair, to mix into their Everybody 3 in 1 unscented shampoo. The smell of the shampoo booster is lovely-- mild, slightly herbal, slightly citrusy. However, upon measuring, mixing, and adding, the shampoo became extremely thin and liquidy (literally the consistency of water), which made it very difficult to use, especially for kids. I figured it had interacted with the ingredients in the shampoo in some way and broken it down. Contacted PT customer service, who were very helpful and nice as usual! They agreed that while Everybody Soap was a great mild choice it probably had broken down when mixed with the booster. They suggested that I mix it in my hand in the moment (like not mix up a whole bottle), which frankly seems really inconvenient and I probably will not do. Maybe if it was just for myself? But for kids it's just an inconvenient additional step. Of course I could try to find a different shampoo, but again that inconvenient, I like our current shampoo, and there's no guarantee it won't do the same with a different shampoo. I gave it 3 stars because the smell is pleasant and customer service was prompt and informational."
