Distilled from the flowering tops of the Helichrysum italicum plant, Helichrysum Hydrosol has a deep honeyed, herbal, earthy aroma. It is helpful for soothing skin irritations from outdoor pests, plants, and other threats or irritants. It also works well as a toner to help purify and balance the skin and supports the natural healing of scars, bruises, and swelling. Use this hydrosol as a cold compress to help soothe sore muscles after a good workout or strenuous day.
Hydrosols are the aromatic remains following a plant’s steam distillation process. They consist entirely of cellular botanical water, which includes unique water-loving (hydrophilic) compounds that provide each hydrosol with distinct characteristics and benefits. While sharing many commonalities with their essential oil counterpart, their molecular makeup is unique enough that hydrosols often have very different aromatic profiles compared to the oil.
Made from 100% naturally-derived ingredients, this product includes 98% organic Helichrysum hydrosol. To ensure the safety of this product and prevent microbial growth, 2% preservative is added (Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate & Water).
You may see some flower in your hydrosol. Rest assured this is a completely natural byproduct of this hydrosol and nothing to be concerned about.

"This is a staple in my home. The Helichrysum Hydrosol works on everything from a loose cuticle that got pulled off to razor burn to any minor cut. The application is easy, as you can just spray it on the area. If you have a small child who doesn't prefer to be 'sprayed', I'm sure you could apply with a qtip or cotton ball. Another quality product from Plant Therapy."
"I ordered the helichrysum hydrosol because I read it was good for overly sensitive, acne-prone skin. Unfortunately, every time I sprayed it, I broke out. So it's not for me and my extra finnicky skin, clearly! Plant Therapy was amazing and refunded me without making me return the product, so I'm a very happy customer! Just not a fan of this hydrosol. "Got while it was on sale, to try! We love it! Glad we grabbed more than one. Interesting scent at first smell, but you do adapt to it quickly. It’s not a terrible smell. Scent does not stay with you very long after usage which is a plus. It is kinda like a very mild pickle juice, fresh flower/floral, sunscreen scent is how I would explain it. Once you smell it you will see what I mean. I dunno, very different. Makes face and skin feel very moisturized, clean and refreshed. Soaks into skin quickly. Looking forward to trying new ways to enjoy this for all things skin health and healing. Overall, I would highly recommend it! We are super picky on scents and this was still a great buy on sale or full price!"
