How to Use

Sprinkle lightly on carpets, rugs, or upholstery, wait 15 minutes, and vacuum thoroughly. Keep all pets and children out of the room and off the freshened carpet or upholstery for an additional 30 minutes after product application and vacuuming.

"Love all of the products but this was a bust. First the seal was not intact and powder got everywhere. The scent was pleasant to me but strong on the clove side and I know many people that don't like clove. I'm a big fan of Germ Fighter but this just wasn't quite as pleasant and a little too overpowering."

Q&A

I am embarrassed to post this question but I am hoping it can be answered. My mother’s carpeted bedroom has a portable potty beside the bed for the last 5 years. Will this carpet refresher get rid of human urine smell? My sister, with whom my mother lives, does use the room spray sold by Plant Therapy but she really needs something to get the smell out of the carpet. Removing the bed and furnishings to clean the carpet are not an option. Thanks, so much!!!
Jay Today at 1:15 PM The carpet refresher does have components that will help absorb and neutralize odors. However the smell is probably coming from the protein and bacteria that have settled in the carpet. You will want to break the protein down and kill of the bacteria as best as possible. I would recommend spraying the area with a 1 -2 punch of White Vinegar and then Lavender essential oil, after it dries absolutely go ahead and use the carpet refresher. It may take a day to notice but that should just about eliminate the urine smell.
