Combine equal parts of Citronella, Lemongrass and Cinnamon Leaf, add to water or witch hazel, and spray around the perimeter to make your outdoor gatherings more pleasant.

To help promote a clean environment in your home during seasonal illness threats, diffuse equal parts of Citronella and Cinnamon Leaf into the air.

Add Citronella to your favorite carrier oil to help with underarm perspiration. Add 1 drop of Citronella and 2 drops of Tea Tree to 1 tablespoon of Coconut oil or aloe vera gel to use on funky toenails that result from being barefoot in shared showers or swimming pool areas.

5.0 5  not only for skeeters!

Everyone associates citronella as a mosquito repellent but it is so much more. The light, lemony scent brightens up a room. Mix it with a bit of any kind of orange for a diffuser blend. I have also used it the water when mopping the kitchen floor because it freshens the whole area.

3.0 5  Did Not Work as Expected

I have been incredibly satisfied with everything else I have purchased from Plant Therapy and with the wonderful customer service! I hate to leave a negative review of anything but unfortunately, I was not completely satisfied with the citronella oil. I bought it to add to homemade bug spray. We live in Florida and the mosquitos are ravenous almost all year round. When my family applied the repellent, the strangest thing happened. Mosquitoes SWARMED to us! It was so bad at one point that it was difficult to see through the swarms in front of our faces. We could not tell for sure if they were actually biting us but they were definitely unusually attracted to something in the spray. We tried to use it on more than one occasion to ensure it was not a fluke experience. I am not giving this 1 star because I understand that perhaps it was my fault for not mixing the correct things. I have made spray several times before and never had this specific issue and the citronella was a new addition.

5.0 5  Mosquitos' demise

It's mosquito season and my daughter is known to get absolutely covered in bites very quickly. A blend with citronella sprayed or massaged on her skin completely protects her from the flying vampires! I'm so thankful for this oil!
