Buddha Wood Product Sheet

Buddha Wood Oil is a rare, cherished oil that is steam distilled from a small tree native to Australia. Also known as Australian Desert Rosewood, Buddha Wood has a deep, woody aroma; a thick, viscous texture; and a deep amber hue. This remarkably balancing and grounding oil enriches meditative practice and supports the mindset of those who wish to stay present. Buddha Wood Oil is sometimes used in place of the more common Sandalwood, but it contains unique components. Additionally, its scent is distinct from Sandalwood with notes of smoke and rose. Buddha Wood Oil is often used in perfumery, especially in refined cologne for men.
To encourage peace and relaxation or to support meditation, diffuse Buddha Wood Oil for 30 minutes.

For a DIY masculine 10 ml roller cologne, blend 10 drops Buddha Wood with 3 drops Bergamot and 3 drops Patchouli and top with Fractionated Coconut Oil.

Buddha Wood Oil blends well with a wide range of citrus, woodsy and spicy oils and makes a great addition to soaps and lotions.

For topical application, dilute to 2-5%.

5.0 5  My #1

I bought this oil for meditation purposes. The first time I used it was after a bad, rough day and I knew I needed a long meditation to clear my head. This oil has some serious magical powers. The smell is just so different and so soothing. I have over 150 bottles of PT essential oils and this one is my favorite. I promise you won\'t be disappointed if you give this oil a try. It\'s magic.

6.0 5  Buddha wood

This is a very nice smokey, woody blend. It reminds me a little of Copaiba when smelling it from the bottle. I tend to enjoy the wood oils very much. Helps me feel calm and serene when diffused.

5.0 5  Not for the faint at heart

This is very different. I love it. The smell is smokey( kinda like smoked meat or cheese). Mixed well with cypress.

I ordered this oil after reading the other reviews, so of course I had to come and add my own. \n\nCon: It is a very heavy oil. It will take a bit of patience waiting for it to drip. I ended up having to use a dropper with it one night when I was really tired and just wanted to start my diffuser so I could go to sleep. \n\nPros: I can\'t even list enough. \n\nThis oil from the bottle didn\'t smell much different than other resin oils. It\'s not one where I smell it I\'m like, wow, this is amazing. Lavender and patchouli are about the only ones honestly that have that affect on me. But when I diffused it, HOLY PATCHOULI. I think I used it like for 24 hours before I MADE myself take a break. It is so addicting and in my opinion, will blend well with ANY oil that blends well with cedarwood. That\'s how I diffused it the first time; I substituted it for cedarwood in a few of my blends. It is perfect for relaxation, reading, chilling, or SLEEPING. \n\nI definitely will be ordering this again. It has a very woodsy, non-wood shavings smell (l am particularly sensitive to arborvitae for that reason) and very, very, very relaxing. I diffused it the first night while I was watching tv and loved it SO much, I immediately took it into the bedroom to put in my bedside diffuser. \n\nI haven\'t tried any topical application yet; just diffusing. But I\'m curious as to how this would work in a roller ball for my husband, since he really likes essential oils but doesn\'t want to smell like incense (his words, not mine). \n\nIf you suffer from anxiety or sleep problems, are reading this and wondering if you should give it a try? Yes. Same disclaimer: please check with your doctor first as I am not a medical professional, just an EO enthusiast that is relieved to have found a solution for being on anxiety/depression meds for the next sixty years.
