Exceptionally Calming

When it comes to calm and relaxation, Chamomile Roman is a great oil to have in your arsenal. It’s soothing and perfect for helping ease both kids and adults into sleep, which is why it’s one of the main ingredients in both our KidSafe Calming the Child and Nighty Night blends. It’s especially good for helping with insomnia. Diffuse it or apply topically before bedtime to help you relax. For an especially relaxing bath blend, add two drops with two drops of Chamomile German and one drop of Peppermint to one tablespoon of body wash. Then add to your nighttime bath to help promote relaxation.

Fantastic for Sore Muscles

Chamomile probably isn’t the first oil that comes to mind when you’re looking for something to help with muscle pain, but it shouldn’t be overlooked! Its anti-inflammatory properties can help soothe sore muscles and ease joint pain associated with aging or overuse. Dilute to 2-5% in your favorite carrier oil and massage onto the area of concern. Or whip up our Sore Muscles Master Blend to have on hand next time you work out. It will have you feeling better and back at the gym in no time.

Soothing to the Skin

Bug bites, rashes, itchy skin, irritation… Chamomile Roman can help! When applied topically, it can help soothe itchiness, irritation or redness. And since this oil is gentle, it’s great for when your little ones need some extra TLC. For smaller issues like bug bits, dilute to 5% in a carrier oil, but for larger areas or daily use, dilute to 2% in a carrier oil or lotion.
