1 tsp lemon juice

1 tsp ground ginger

Elderberry Vital Cider Drink

Elderberry VitalCider Boost

This comforting mulled cider blends spices known for their antioxidant properties, with vitamin C-rich orange slices! The addition of Elderberry Tincture boosts potential immune-supporting benefits and cranberries add a tart twist and extra antioxidants.

Ingredients:

2 cups of apple cider

1 orange, thinly sliced

4-6 whole cloves

2 cinnamon sticks

1 whole star anise

1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg

1/4 cup of cranberries

1 tsp maple syrup

2 dropperfuls of Elderberry Tincture

Instructions: In a large pot, combine the apple cider, orange slices, cloves, cinnamon sticks, star anise, ground nutmeg, maple syrup, and cranberries. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally. Allow it to simmer for 20-30 minutes to infuse the cider with the spices, taking care to maintain the simmer, reducing heat to low if necessary. Remove pot from heat and using a fine mesh strainer, strain the cider to remove the whole spices and fruit slices. Allow to cool to a drinkable temperature and stir in the Elderberry Tincture. Pour the warm mulled cider into mugs and garnish with an additional cinnamon stick or an orange slice if desired.

Alternative: Substitute cranberries for 1 tsp 100% Cranberry juice if berries are not available.

Lemon Balm Egg Nog

Lemon Balm Feelin' Good Eggnog

Love a good eggnog during the holidays? Give this traditional drink a boost with the emotionally balancing qualities of Lemon Balm Tincture and put your feet up and relax!

Ingredients:

2 cups whole milk

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/8 tsp ground nutmeg

1/8 tsp ground cinnamon

3 large egg yolks

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

4 dropperfuls Lemon Balm Tincture

Cinnamon sticks for garnish (optional)

Instructions: In a large saucepan, combine milk, half of the sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Warm over medium heat until it is steaming but not boiling. In a separate bowl, whisk together egg yolks and the remaining sugar until creamy and well-combined. Gradually add about a cup of the hot milk mixture to the egg yolks, whisking constantly to temper the eggs. This prevents them from cooking upon direct contact with the hot milk. Pour the tempered egg yolk mixture back into the saucepan with the rest of the hot milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens slightly (it should be able to coat the back of a spoon). Remove from heat and strain the mixture through a fine sieve into a bowl to remove any potential lumps. Stir in the heavy cream and vanilla extract. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature. Once cooled, pour into two mugs and add two dropperfuls of Lemon Balm Tincture into both. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, before serving. Serve chilled, garnished with a cinnamon stick if desired.

Turmeric Golden Milk Latte

Turmeric Golden Milk Latte

Getting cozy on a chilly evening and helping soothe aches and pains? Yes, please! Golden milk is a traditional Indian drink known for its anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. The addition of black pepper helps boost the therapeutic properties of Turmeric Tincture, since black pepper’s compound piperine enhances the benefits of Turmeric’s compound curcumin, helping the body to absorb and utilize it effectively. So go ahead and relax from head to toe!

Ingredients:

2 cups milk

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground ginger

1/4 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp maple syrup

1 tsp ghee

1 pinch of cardamom

1 pinch of black pepper

2 dropperfuls Turmeric Tincture

Instructions:

In a saucepan, combine milk, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper. Warm the mixture over medium heat until it's heated through, but not boiling, and remove from heat. Add ghee and whisk until fully combined. Add the turmeric tincture and stir well, then sweeten with maple syrup.

Pour into a mug and sprinkle a little extra cinnamon on top if desired.

Alternative: For a vegan recipe, use a plant-based milk (soy, almond, oat, etc.), and replace ghee with cold-pressed coconut oil.
