Yuzu Product Sheet

Yuzu essential oil has been used in Japanese culture for centuries for its therapeutic properties and zesty aroma. It is cold pressed from the fruit peel of the Citrus Junos tree, which originated in Japan. Yuzu has a tart, citrus smell that is a blend between Mandarin and Grapefruit. It is perfect for blends, aromatherapy, and supporting respiratory health.

The wonderful aroma can create an atmosphere that is refreshing, especially during times of worry and tension. Yuzu supports respiratory health by helping during times of congestion brought on by common ailments.

Add a few drops to your favorite aromatherapy diffuser, personal inhaler, or diffuser necklace to help remove feelings of high tension and worries. Dilute using a 2-4% ratio with your favorite Plant Therapy carrier oil and apply to the chest and back of the neck to relieve congestion. Create a personal fragrance by adding 2 drops to your favorite lotion, cream, or body mist.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

5.0 5  Yuzu

I adore Yuzu and all of the wonderous freshness it brings. The fruit itself is wonderful in recipes ranging from sweet to spicy. This EO really captures the essence of the prized Japanese fruit. It is my favorite out of all the citrus EO\'s.

5.0 5  Just like the fresh fruit

Since living in Japan, I\'ve fallen in love with yuzu, however fresh ones are only available for a very limited time of the year. It\'s a tradition here to put the sliced fruit in the tub, but I can never justify using a whole yuzu in for a bath when I could make yuzu tea out of it, so this will make an excellent substitute mixed up with some unscented bubble bath and allow me to consume what few fresh ones I get my hands on each year. This bottle smells exactly like squeezing a fresh yuzu in your hands.
