Yuzu Product Sheet

Yuzu essential oil has been used in Japanese culture for centuries for its therapeutic properties and zesty aroma. It is cold pressed from the fruit peel of the Citrus Junos tree, which originated in Japan. Yuzu has a tart, citrus smell that is a blend between Mandarin and Grapefruit. It is perfect for blends, aromatherapy, and supporting respiratory health.

The wonderful aroma can create an atmosphere that is refreshing, especially during times of worry and tension. Yuzu supports respiratory health by helping during times of congestion brought on by common ailments.
Add a few drops to your favorite aromatherapy diffuser, personal inhaler, or diffuser necklace to help remove feelings of high tension and worries. Dilute using a 2-4% ratio with your favorite Plant Therapy carrier oil and apply to the chest and back of the neck to relieve congestion. Create a personal fragrance by adding 2 drops to your favorite lotion, cream, or body mist.

5.0 5  yuzu-lover's must!

I grew up eating a lot of yuzu-marmalade (I have two big jars in the fridge now too!). Yuzu tea made from yuzu-marmalade was always the first thing my grandma would bring me when I had a cold or sore throat (so much vitamin C!). Yuzu is my absolute favorite citrus fragrance, with its bright sweet, citrusy-sour note along with pleasant and subtle bitterness along with it. Plant Therapy's yuzu oil captures my nostalgic yuzu fragrance fantastically. It doesn't have as much of that subtle bitterness that completes yuzu, nonetheless, it's very much like the real concentrated yuzu fragrance I would get from my grandma's marmalades! I like it in pretty much everything that citrus goes well in, and I especially like it in my pain blend, where yuzu is the highlight oil that targets nerve pain. I refrain from diffusing it as much as I want to because it's more costly than other citrus oils (otherwise, I would go through a giant bottle every month), but I love it in inhaler/roller for a quick pick-me-up! If you like citrus, especially a bergamot-type, I highly recommend this oil!

recommend  Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
