Vanilla Oleoresin Product Sheet (1)

Vanilla Oleoresin is well known for its warm, inviting scent and is often used in sensual blends. When added to a carrier oil, it can help reduce nervous tension and agitation, and promote relaxation before sleep. Its rich, comforting, familiar aroma makes a wonderful addition to many DIY aromatherapy products.
Vanilla Oleoresin does not mix completely in a carrier oil. To blend completely, dilute to 1-2% in your favorite body lotion or cream. Vanilla Oleoresin can be added to a carrier oil, but speckles of the Oleoresin will separate from the carrier. This is acceptable if you are making a product like a sugar scrub; some people enjoy the look of the brown speckles in lip balm, for instance. Diffuse 2 drops of Vanilla Oleoresin with 2 drops of Grapefruit Pink and 1 drop of Sandalwood for an exotic getaway in your own living room. For an uplifting bath experience, add 3 drops of Vanilla Oleoresin and 3 drops of Orange Sweet Essential Oil to 2 teaspoons of vodka and add to your bathtub.

5.0 5  Sweet and comforting

This is one of my favorite oils. I love mixing it with orange or peppermint. With orange, it smells like a creamsicle. With peppermint, it smells like a candy cane. I have also tried it with lavender at night for relaxing before bed. You can\'t go wrong with any combo, in my opinion. I haven\'t had any problems with it clogging up my diffusers, but I only use a drop or two and make sure to clean my diffusers regularly.

5.0 5  So happy to discover Plant Therapy

Not exactly sure how I stumbled across the website, but I am really excited to have discovered Plant Therapy and all of their product line. The vanilla is awesome - I have used it several times since purchase in diffuser blends.

5.0 5  Warm and inviting

Vanilla is so warm and soft. This is particular vanilla doesn\'t mix with a carrier oil. BUT you can infuse a carrier oil with it and then use that as a body oil, or make it into a lotion or scrub. Check out Plant Therapys blog on infusing oils.

5.0 5  Loving this Vanilla

Since the Vanilla CO2 was not available, I decided to try this. I love it diffuser in blends, I clean out my diffuser after each use.

5.0 5  Who doesn't like vanilla?

Vanilla is one of those homey scents that reminds you of so many comfortable things. When I purchased it I didn\'t know that it really shouldn\'t be diffused too often but I have added it a few drops at a time with other oils with no problems. I can\'t wait to add it to some jojoba oil and let it sit and do it\'s magic.
