Vanilla 12% is well known for its warm, inviting scent and is often used in sensual blends. When diffused, it can help reduce nervous tension and agitation, and promote relaxation before sleep. This C02 extract carries the rich, full scent of vanilla beans grown in the tropics. The "12%" refers to the percentage of vanillin, a natural part of the vanilla bean responsible for imparting the heady, delicious scent. As it is a "total" extract, Vanilla C02 contains more of the original vanilla bean's goodness, including plant waxes and pigments. This means that the oil will be very thick; in fact, it may be solid or nearly so. To help ease the Vanilla C02 from the bottle, place the tightly capped bottle in a small zipper-style plastic baggie and then place the baggie in a small bowl of very warm water. The warmth will liquefy the oil; it will not harm it. After a few minutes, remove the baggie from the water, and then the bottle from the bag. It should be liquid enough to drip, but in some cases, you may need to coax the oil from the bottle with a pipette.
As part of a romantic massage blend, add 3 drops Vanilla C02, 3 drops Bergamot, and 1 drop each of Sandalwood, Neroli, and Vetiver to one ounce of lotion or carrier oil.

Unexpected but better than expected!

I just got my vanilla 12% in the mail and I have to say I LOVE it!! It doesn't smell like vanilla extract or those nasty fake vanilla scented candles... it's almost like sandalwood and vanilla mixed together. It's sweet with a soft undertone of spice, a little woody, all wrapped up in a big warm vanilla hug. Good job guys!
