Spearmint is a wonderful child safe oil from the same family as peppermint. When diluted in carrier and applied to the abdomen, it can help relieve a queasy stomach and bloating. When diffused, Spearmint is uplifting, reduces emotional agitation, improves concentration, and eases physical tension in the head and neck.
To help energize the body and mind, add 4 drops of Spearmint Essential Oil to an ounce of bubble bath. Add this mix to 1/2 cup of Epsom salts and swirl into a lovely warm bath. To relieve a queasy stomach and bloating, add 2 drops of Spearmint Essential Oil and 1 drop of Coriander Essential Oil to 1 teaspoon of carrier oil and apply to the abdomen. Spearmint can also be added to a personal aromatherapy inhaler to ease a queasy stomach.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

This has a very good odor and Plant Therapy is a very reputable company and have bought all my essential oils from them. I place a drop on my bra strap and I will smell it all day without it being too overpowering. I work in a hospital setting so perfumes are banned and this make me feel energized every time I smell it and it isn't offensive to anyone else as it smells like I am chewing gum. :)

Oh man. I could sniff this straight out of the bottle all day long. It\'s so refreshing and energizing, yet soothing. I really enjoy it. I used it on my son to help fight some congestion and I noticed a difference within a few minutes. It seems a great substitute for the not-kid-safe peppermint (and smells much better too, in my opinion!) I\'m looking forward to some bath salts with it. It\'s also great in a mojito diffuser master blend: 30 d lime, 30 d spearmint, 20 d tangerine, 20 d grapefruit. (Use 4-5 d in diffuser at a time)

Spearmint is a very refreshing and uplifting oil. It\'s also the oil that I grab first when my boys have a cold or even a runny nose. My husband even loves the oil because of how refreshing it is.

Our favorite!

We really love this spearmint because it smells amazing AND we can use it with our kids in place of peppermint for similar issues. It's a double whammy!
