Indian Sandalwood Product Sheet

Indian Sandalwood has been used spiritually for thousands of years. In India the Sandalwood tree is considered sacred. Sandalwood has a warm, woodsy, earthy aroma that has been used for creating a peaceful atmosphere, quieting the mind, and helping reduce nervous tension. It can be added to a bath to help you relax and unwind after a busy day! Use it when your throat is tender to help soothe the pain and be back to normal once again. Sandalwood is a great source to help keep the skin clean. Our Sandalwood comes from a plantation in Australia to help preserve the trees in India. Every batch of Plant Therapy Indian Sandalwood can be traced back to where the actual trees were grown to ensure that we are doing our part to product 100% pure, undiluted, ethically sourced Indian Sandalwood Essential Oil.
To soothe a tender throat, mix 1 drop Niaouli and 1 drop Indian Sandalwood with a half teaspoon of your favorite Plant Therapy carrier oil and massage on the front and back of the neck. For a relaxing bath that is comforting to the senses and nourishing to the skin, add 1 drop each of Jasmine Absolute, Indian Sandalwood, and Sweet Orange and mix with 1 tablespoon of body wash or bubble bath and add to a warm bath. Relax and enjoy!

5.0 5  A precious and ancient oil

Indian Sandalwood has been used for centuries for skin care and in Chinese medicine. This oil has a wonderful aroma that can be diffused on its own or mixed with other EO\'s. This precious oil is used sparingly and is a real treat to have in any EO collection.

5.0 5  Authentic aroma

I am from India and we use sandalwood for many purposes. A friend gave this to me and I was surprised how beautiful scent was. Reminded me of my childhood in India. Works good in face serum and use for meditation

5.0 5  A favourite

I\'ve been a big fan of Australian Sandalwood until I purchased Indian Sandalwood and realised what I\'ve missing. A beautiful sweet woody scent. I love combining it with orange and ylang ylang for an exotic fragrance.

2.0 5  Really weak scent

Have never been unhappy with a PT oil until now. I started with 5ml to see how I would like it. I remember sandalwood I was gifted years ago that was much stronger than this which was what I was looking for but it was too expensive. I finally decided to try a smaller amount of PT to see if it was the same sandalwood from India that I remember. I have the old bottle that I can still smell although empty. I could hardly smell this at all when I opened it and ended up using 14 drops in 100ml of water but no one could smell it unless on top of the diffuser which defeats the purpose of diffusing it. I ended up using a couple drops of Palo Santo with it and that helped but I mostly smelled the Palo Santo. I love PT products but I will look for my sandalwood elsewhere. I will use this up mixed with other oils. Maybe it can enhance them but for the pure scent of sandalwood this was a bust. Pretty disappointed since I have had my eye on it for awhile.

recommend  No, I wouldn't recommend this to a friend.
