Indian Sandalwood Product Sheet

Indian Sandalwood has been used spiritually for thousands of years. In India the Sandalwood tree is considered sacred. Sandalwood has a warm, woodsy, earthy aroma that has been used for creating a peaceful atmosphere, quieting the mind, and helping reduce nervous tension. It can be added to a bath to help you relax and unwind after a busy day! Use it when your throat is tender to help soothe the pain and be back to normal once again. Sandalwood is a great source to help keep the skin clean. Our Sandalwood comes from a plantation in Australia to help preserve the trees in India. Every batch of Plant Therapy Indian Sandalwood can be traced back to where the actual trees were grown to ensure that we are doing our part to product 100% pure, undiluted, ethically sourced Indian Sandalwood Essential Oil.

To soothe a tender throat, mix 1 drop Niaouli and 1 drop Indian Sandalwood with a half teaspoon of your favorite Plant Therapy carrier oil and massage on the front and back of the neck. For a relaxing bath that is comforting to the senses and nourishing to the skin, add 1 drop each of Jasmine Absolute, Indian Sandalwood, and Sweet Orange and mix with 1 tablespoon of body wash or bubble bath and add to a warm bath. Relax and enjoy!

4.0 5  Real Deal at our time

Whilst the well aged mysore would become to rare to consume, this Indian version or source provided by PT is fair, authentic and reasonable. It just strikes the right balance of quality and price. Some reviews here says this is weak. Cannot agree more the scent here is much weaker than those we could source from mid market in 10 to 20 years ago, especially when this is used in diffuser. It is also true to me I need more more drops in my personal body oil blend if I have to attain my used-to scent preference. That said It is still very nice to rub a little bit neat between my brow, the subtle beautiful scent arises and nothing better to start a day like this.

recommend  No, I wouldn't recommend this to a friend.

5.0 5  worth the splurge

This is one of my favorite scents, so soft, rounded and grounding. It lasts too. Smells just like a mala of sandalwood beads. A great note in perfume blends.
