Petitgrain Essential Oil originated from Paraguay and is extracted using steam distillation from the leaves and twigs of the Seville bitter orange tree. This oil has a woodsy, fresh scent with a hint of floral. This wonderful aroma is a favorite for natural perfumery, comforting the mind when emotions are running wild, and is gentle and effective for skin care. When added to body or room spray, the delightful scent of Petitgrain can give the atmosphere not only a wonderful aroma, but creates an environment that is uplifting and energizing.

During times of great emotional upheaval, Petitgrain is a go to choice to help balance emotions. A favorite for skin care, Petitgrain is gentle, yet effective to help with blemishes and oily skin. Petitgrain is one of the oils used in our KidSafe Tummy All Better synergy blend and it can help soothe upset tummies when applied with your favorite Plant Therapy carrier oil to the abdomen.

Add 2 drops of Petitgrain and 2 drops of Mandarin to your favorite aromatherapy diffuser, personal inhaler, or diffuser necklace to help calm and balance the mind during times of high emotional duress. Dilute using a 1-3% ratio with your favorite Plant Therapy carrier oil and apply topically to the skin to help blemishes and oily skin.

My favorite!!

This is my new favorite essential oil! It is such a unique scent; I would describe it as woodsy, with a hint of floral, but also peppery! The description says balances mood which is why I purchased it. It is so relaxing, I could sit in a corner and sniff this puppy all day. Ha! Plan to use this as a spray cleaner for kitchen surfaces along with diffusing happiness into the air. Highly recommend!

Uplifts when diffused

I bought Petitgrain because another site claimed it was a cheaper alternative to Neroli and smelled almost as nice. Umm... no. Not even close. lol But... even though I don't care at all for the scent of this oil, it does help to uplift the spirit when diffused. I only use one drop in my diffuser then add in a few drops of various citrus oils and bit of Bergamot.

Pretty good!

I don't care for the scent, but I am using it in my homemade deodorant recipe because I read that it can help with perspiration. Seems to be working.
