Petitgrain Product Sheet

Petitgrain Essential Oil originated from Paraguay and is extracted using steam distillation from the leaves and twigs of the Seville bitter orange tree. This oil has a woodsy, fresh scent with a hint of floral. This wonderful aroma is a favorite for natural perfumery, comforting the mind when emotions are running wild, and is gentle and effective for skin care. When added to body or room spray, the delightful scent of Petitgrain can give the atmosphere not only a wonderful aroma, but creates an environment that is uplifting and energizing.

During times of great emotional upheaval, Petitgrain is a go to choice to help balance emotions. A favorite for skin care, Petitgrain is gentle, yet effective to help with blemishes and oily skin. Petitgrain is one of the oils used in our KidSafe Tummy All Better synergy blend and it can help soothe upset tummies when applied with your favorite Plant Therapy carrier oil to the abdomen.

Add 2 drops of Petitgrain and 2 drops of Mandarin to your favorite aromatherapy diffuser, personal inhaler, or diffuser necklace to help calm and balance the mind during times of high emotional duress. Dilute using a 1-3% ratio with your favorite Plant Therapy carrier oil and apply topically to the skin to help blemishes and oily skin.

Petitgrain is a wonderfully fresh smelling oil. I like it best mixed with Palmarosa. The woodiness and floral give off a unique scent together.

5.0 5  Great smell and great for skin

Have been using this oil for a month. I love its smell, woody but not too sweet. And apart from the great smell, it does wonder to my skin! I add this to my lotion as part of my skin care routine, it really does speed up the healing of acne!

5.0 5  Underrated oil

I finally tried out my petitgrain. It has a wonderful green/earthy smell. I ended up trying it diffused in a sleep blend with ho wood, lavender, and palmarosa (petitgrain and ho wood being the dominants in the blend). It was so relaxing- just amazing. Everyone in the house drifted off for a peaceful night\'s sleep with this one on board. It elevated itself to a must have in my arsenal.
