Petitgrain Product Sheet

Petitgrain Essential Oil originated from Paraguay and is extracted using steam distillation from the leaves and twigs of the Seville bitter orange tree. This oil has a woodsy, fresh scent with a hint of floral. This wonderful aroma is a favorite for natural perfumery, comforting the mind when emotions are running wild, and is gentle and effective for skin care. When added to body or room spray, the delightful scent of Petitgrain can give the atmosphere not only a wonderful aroma, but creates an environment that is uplifting and energizing.

During times of great emotional upheaval, Petitgrain is a go to choice to help balance emotions. A favorite for skin care, Petitgrain is gentle, yet effective to help with blemishes and oily skin. Petitgrain is one of the oils used in our KidSafe Tummy All Better synergy blend and it can help soothe upset tummies when applied with your favorite Plant Therapy carrier oil to the abdomen.

Add 2 drops of Petitgrain and 2 drops of Mandarin to your favorite aromatherapy diffuser, personal inhaler, or diffuser necklace to help calm and balance the mind during times of high emotional duress. Dilute using a 1-3% ratio with your favorite Plant Therapy carrier oil and apply topically to the skin to help blemishes and oily skin.

5.0 5  Anxiety Attack Hero

Everyone recommended this for anxiety. I wasn't so sure when I smelled it! Everyone says it smells like dill but I don't think so. It's definitely not a great smell but I used this in a blend with ylang ylang, vetiver, chamomile, a teensy bit of patchouli and blood & sweet orange and it zapped 3 of the WORST panic attacks I've ever had. I cannot recommend this enough! And it blends so well with orange and ylang ylang! It's sold out right now for a reason, and it's because it's a bit stinky, but it doesn't overpower in a blend and it works! I've used it in tummy blends too. Great oil that pulls its weight!

3.0 5  Dill-like

I bought this to create an emotional support blend, for which it serves its purpose. On its own, however, it has an aroma very reminiscent of Dill which I am not fond of.

3.0 5  Pickles

I bought petitgrain to help defuse angry emotion, but I didn't notice it helping. It smells very much like pickles and sticks. It could just be the batch I have, but I get no sweetness from it. That being said, I do still find myself using it in blends, and it works for upset tummies.

5.0 5  Petitgrain EO

I am loving this uplifting scent! This essential oil is versatile and blends with so many other nice scents, I will be using this often. I am presently diffusing it with Orangeblood and Patchouli, though the latter wasn't listed as one it blends well with. I am enjoying it!
