Peppermint is a perennial herb that grows widely in Europe, North America, and Asia. This leafy plant grows close to the ground and produces smooth, dark green leaves with clusters of small pinkish lavender flowers.

Originating in India, Peppermint has been used for centuries for its revitalizing properties. Steam distilled from the leaves of the mint plant, Peppermint Essential Oil creates a strong aromatic scent that has a fresh, cool, grassy-minty smell. This scent is invigorating to the senses that promotes energy and alertness. Peppermint is a refreshing and stimulating oil that is both soothing and enlightening.

Peppermint Essential Oil has a cooling effect on the skin that is revitalizing and wonderful to the touch, due to its menthol content. With many amazing uses for this essential oil, Peppermint is a valuable addition to any oil collection.
Peppermint can be diluted in carrier oil and applied to the temples and back of the neck when having head and neck tension. Add, well-diluted, to a carrier oil for an uplifting massage. It is also helpful to sniff when having a queasy stomach. Also useful at the end of a long day as a foot-soak, add a few drops to ½ cup of epsom salt dissolved in warm water.

The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

I ordered this from amazon in the hopes of using it to get ants to quit coming in my bathroom. It worked! They haven't been back and I had tried many other things and had a problem with them for years and it only took a few drops around where they came in. I then put some of it in my mouthwash and it tastes a lot better. It smells wonderful and it arrived quickly after ordering.

I have recently gotten into essential oils (EO) and aromatherapy and I had read that Peppermint relieves indigestion and headaches. I normally don't ingest EO's as it not recommended but I have placed a drop on my tongue on two occasions when I had indigestion (which I normally don't have) with almost immediate relief. I also developed a headache at work and when I came home I placed peppermint on my forehead and layed down for about 10 min. then got up and did my normal stuff then about an hour later I had realized the peppermint had worked.

I had first ordered this essential oil from Amazon, and wasn't sure if I would be as into it as I ended up being. The scent is fabulous and uplifting, and I bring it to work to both sniff as well as rub on my pulse points to give me natural, necessary energy in the late night hours. Fast forward, I lost the bottle, panicked, and decided to order another bottle straight from Plant Therapy. Their customer service is fantastic! Very much focused on making you, as the customer, happy. Quick shipping, and I was one very happy bunny! I cannot be without this very potent, well-priced piece of my 'medicine' cabinet!!

One of my favorites and most bought. Smells so clean. Love to use in cleaning products or diffuser or allergy blend of lemon, lavender, and peppermint. Great for tummy issues and headaches. Overall just a MUST HAVE!

This peppermint is outstanding. Amazing quality at an amazing price. I diffuse it to lift me up and freshen the room, and also for tummy troubles and headaches. Works like a charm. Its everything you could ask for in a high quality essential oil. I love Plant Therapy more and more with each oil I purchase!
