Palo Santo Product Sheet

Originated in South America, Palo Santo comes from the Palo Santo tree that translates in Spanish as “holy wood.” This sacred tree has been used for centuries for its healing properties and potential to ward off negative energy. The oil is distilled from the aged heartwood from the trunk of the Palo Santo tree that is rich in terpenes such as limonene and α-terpineol; making this a cousin to Frankincense and Myrrh. Due to its powerful chemical makeup, this essential oil is well known for its healing, calming, and cleansing capabilities.
Add 2 drops of Palo Santo, 2 drops of Lavender, and 1 drop of Mandarin to 1 tablespoon of bubble bath or body wash; mix into your bathwater to help relax and alleviate the lows from everyday worry. To help reduce tenderness, mix 2 drops of Palo Santo, 2 drops of Frankincense with 1 ounce of your favorite Plant Therapy carrier oil and apply topically to the affected area. We recommend a maximum dilution of 3% for topical applications.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

5.0 5  Palo Santo

I've been meaning to try Palo Santo for a long while and finally ordered and received it yesterday. Why didn't I order this sooner?!! It is my new favorite! The scent is just incredible! Diffusing it now and the house smells great and hopefully is being rid of negative energy.

5.0 5  Smells like the real wood

This one smells exactly like the real one. I used to burn palo santo but would always ask everyone in the household to vacate the premises esp. with my toddler since it creates a lot of smoke. Now, I just diffuse this one and it also gives the same calming effect as the real wood.

5.0 5  Good

Good oil. Very strong so you don't need much. Has a distinct odor, almost like rubber or licorice. I like it. Good for manly blends.

1.0 5  Didn't work for us

I bought this because its supposed to help with pain. I have tried three different ways of using it. Even the master blend for joint blend. Could I have gotten a bad bottle? I'm not sure ,I just know that my husband nor I got any relief. I love PT but this oil has just been sitting in my box along with the blends made.

recommend  No, I wouldn't recommend this to a friend.
