Palmarosa has a soft, sweet floral scent and is often diffused to freshen up and sanitize the air. It is also considered to be an excellent skin-balancing oil for all skin types, much like Neroli essential oil. It is a marvelous oil for supporting digestive health.

Palmarosa is also viewed as helpful in uplifting and steadying the emotions. Palmarosa is also a wonderful oil to consider pulling out of the oil box when seasonal illness strikes.
Diffuse Palmarosa oil during times of seasonal illness. Add a drop of Palmarosa to your favorite skin moisturizer or body lotion for skin balancing and toning action. Add 2-3 drops of Palmarosa to a tablespoon of carrier oil and massage the abdomen in a clockwise motion to ease uncomfortable symptoms.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

2.0 5  Wished I could enjoy it...

I had read some wonderful things about Palmarosa, so I was excited to order it... However, I just don't care for the smell personally. I find it overwhelming and not pleasant.

recommend  No, I wouldn't recommend this to a friend.

5.0 5  Grew on me

This wasn't one of my favorite scents to start with. I began using it with other oils in my diffusers and has grown on my and is used regularly in my diffuser locket for it's uplifting and steadying qualities. I even ordered a bottle for my daughter to use with a locket that I ordered for her as a gift.

5.0 5  My most floral oil

To me, it smells nostalgic, like roses and candy. It's too strong for me diffuse, but I love it in carrier oil. I can't wait to try it out in cocoa butter. It does open up my breathing, and it always lifts my mood.

5.0 5  A truly wonderful oil

Once again, I am dismayed that some folks leave a bad rating/review simply based on the scent of an oil. These are not perfumes, they are essential oils, each with unique qualities to help us in various ways. I happen to think that Palmarosa smells lovely. Softly floral with a hint of citrus. But beyond that, it is a fantastic oil for a variety of uses. Diluted with your favorite carrier oil, it will help with stomach upsets when massaged into the stomach/abdomen area. It also helps me to freshen the air in my home when I diffuse it and I find it very calming and relaxing when diffused at bedtime. I think Plant Therapy has the best oils, and their Palmarosa is no exception!
