Cautions:

If used in excess, Nutmeg essential oil can cause toxic symptoms. We recommend a maximum dilution of 0.8% for topical applications.

Like many of the spice and herb oils, Nutmeg is very useful for the occasional queasy stomach and sluggish digestion. As a warming oil, it may be helpful in easing the achy joints which come from normal aging or wear and tear.
Add Nutmeg to a carrier oil and rub in clockwise circles on the abdomen. Add a couple drops to an ounce of milk or teaspoon of carrier oil, then add that mixture to a ½ cup of Epsom salts in a warm bath to help soothe away aches.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

This statement has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Bottles are filled by volume. Some bottle sizes may not be filled to the top, but do contain the volume of oil specified.

5.0 5  Delicious!

Lovely oil! Smells just like the kitchen spice. I bought this for a salve that called for this & pepper oil. I can tell this is also going to be a favorite for autumn and the Advent season!

5.0 5  Nurturing Scent

It's a game changer when you put this oil in an essential oil warmer. It's very relaxing and nurturing especially with vanilla. When used in the diffuser it's almost overpowering. I will try a "mini" drop to see how that works. Mini drop= I dip a pin/needle in a drop of oil and add that to the diffuser or... Sometimes that little bit does the trick.

Who doesn't love the smell of nutmeg? Love it! Can we add to coffee?

5.0 5  Very good in Bath Salts

Warm comforting smell. I use it with Roman Chamomile, Mandarin & Benzoin in Bath salts for relaxing before bedtime. First I dilute the essential oils in a teaspoon of a carrier oil, then mix them with the salts before adding them in the warm bath water.

5.0 5  Spicy and warming

I purchased the Nutmeg essential oil to use in diffuser and roller blends. I used it in a DIY recipe similar to Endoflex with excellent results and will definitely use it in fall diffuser blends and maybe some homemade soaps. It smells delicious.
