Niaouli, also in the same family as Tea Tree and Cajeput oils, has a variety of uses. It is best known for respiratory support, especially during seasonal pollen threats. It is also useful in skin care, especially in the case of blemishes or in minor scratches or scrapes. Niaouli can also be an adjunct when added to a blend for the aches and pains associated with aging.
To help support healthy joints, Niaouli can be added to a carrier oil and smoothed over the affected area. Niaouli is also effective in resolving skin problems such as teenage blemishes and the occasional minor cooking burn. Diffuse into the air or use in an inhaler to help with symptoms caused by seasonal pollen or illness threats.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

5.0 5  Respiratory relief

Bought this as an alternative to eucalyptus-based respiratory solutions, just to switch things up. Looking forward to trying it on achy joints. Would like to see PT add the linalool chemotype of Niaouli, Nerolina, to their lineup. It is a bit softer and more calming. But this is good for more aggressive uses.

I really like this oil! I\'ve been using it as a sub for tea tree, and also for respiratory issues. It works great, and I enjoy the scent as well. :)

As you get older every ache and pain feels exaggerated, Asthmas turns into COPD, cuts, and abrasions take much longer to heal. This can help with so many of those things.
