I made the bug spray posted in Plant Therapy's blog this summer using Bug-Off. Not only did it smell MUCH better than commercial bug sprays, it also worked amazingly well. I actually watched mosquitoes fly towards me, then turn around and fly away. No one in my family got any bug bites when we were using this.

5 stars because it worked extremely well for mosquitos (big North Idaho mosquitos!). I'd give it 3-4 for the scent, its very citronella-y, I wish some of the more pleasant smells were the more noticeable ones. Anyway, the mosquitos didn't like it (I diluted with sweet almond oil and applied to exposed skin) and the bees seemed to keep their distance as well.

I live in Minnesota where we have tons of mosquitoes. This summer I was pregnant and have two toddlers so I wanted to try to find a natural bug spray. This was the only thing that worked, and it worked as well as a product full of deet. I made the bug spray on the blog using it and it kept the mosquitoes away from all of us this summer!

I love this oil! I've used it for Mosquitos as well as a lice treatment. It works great!

I really love this blend. I can make wipes, sprays, roll ons. What I like the most besides being natural is that I enjoy the smell.
