Like many of the herb and spice oils, Marjoram is calming and warming and can help encourage relaxation before sleep. When suffering from the symptoms of common seasonal illnesses, Marjoram can provide comfort. Using Marjoram in Evening Primrose oil can be smoothed over the abdomen to provide relief from discomfort due to menstrual pain. We also recommend sweet marjoram in a blend massaged onto the legs to help soothe muscle tissues before sleep.
For seasonal illness, add 2-3 of drops of marjoram to 1 ounce of milk or 1 teaspoon carrier oil, then add this to ½ cup of Epsom salts in a warm bath to help relieve symptoms. Add marjoram to a carrier oil or lotion to relieve occasional tired, sore muscles such as after a strenuous workout or to relieve the discomfort suffered during the menstrual cycle.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

4.0 5  Herbaceous aroma

I originally bought this a few months ago to make a menstrual cramp blend, which has helped in reducing my pain. I am not a huge fan of herbaceous aromas, but the hint of sweetness with this one makes it less offensive to my nose.

4.0 5  Good for aches

My mom gave me this oil and I was doubtful that I would use it because I am not in love with the fragrance. However I used it with a carrier oil and rubbed it on my achy knee. It helped relieve the ache. It is did not take it away completely but it helped. I will be experimenting with this oil a lot!

5.0 5  Marjoram

I wasn\'t sure what to do with this oil at first but now I have found that when blended properly, it can help with perimenopause symptoms. It\'s a pleasant smelling oil and I am very glad I added it to my collection.
