Marjoram Sweet product sheet

Like many of the herb and spice oils, Marjoram is calming and warming and can help encourage relaxation before sleep. When suffering from the symptoms of common seasonal illnesses, Marjoram can provide comfort. Using Marjoram in Evening Primrose oil can be smoothed over the abdomen to provide relief from discomfort due to menstrual pain. We also recommend sweet marjoram in a blend massaged onto the legs to help soothe muscle tissues before sleep.

To learn more about our Sweet Marjoram's uses and benefits, check out our Sweet Marjoram essential oil spotlight blog post.
For seasonal illness, add 2-3 of drops of marjoram to 1 ounce of milk or 1 teaspoon carrier oil, then add this to ½ cup of Epsom salts in a warm bath to help relieve symptoms. Add marjoram to a carrier oil or lotion to relieve occasional tired, sore muscles such as after a strenuous workout or to relieve the discomfort suffered during the menstrual cycle.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

5.0 5  Smells like a summer garden

I enjoy using this oil for cleaning and deodorizing, especially putting some drops on the rollers of the vacuum. It creates a warm, slightly herbal scent that makes a space smell clean without a heavy medicinal smell.

5.0 5  versatile oil

I like using marjoram in pain blends and I also mixed it in to an allergy blend. It works great for multiple things.

3.0 5  Good for pain

I purchased this to make another blend for my headaches and tension. Unfortunately I find it doesn’t work as well. Better for very faint pain I suppose

3.0 5  More medicinal

Marjoram Sweet is definitely more medicinally smelling than I was hoping, but it seems to be effective. I probably won't use it unless I'm desperate for some bug fighting.

5.0 5  Love the scent

Planning to use as sore muscle relief. It does smells similar to a minty eucalyptus. Calming scent for the diffuser.
