Macadamia Nut Carrier Oil
Cold Pressed from the kernel of the macadamia nut.
Macadamia Nut carrier oil has a slightly more nutty aroma than other nut carrier oils.
Macadamia Nut may leave a slightly oily feeling on the skin but is generally well absorbed.
Slightly thicker and heavier than many carrier oils.
Macadamia Nut Oil is made from macadamia nuts (a tree nut). Although our expert states skin reactions to nut oils are rare, those with nut allergies should consult their medical practitioner before coming into contact with macadamia nut oil.
Macadamia Nut Oil has been successfully used to help reduce the appearance of scars and soothe sunburn or otherwise reddened/chapped skin; it is popular as a deep conditioner for hair.

I would not have tried this oil if it was not included with my order of one of Plant Therapy's awesome sales. I love it! I mix it with jojoba oil and use it on my face daily. It gives me an extra glow and soothes dry patches. I have not experienced any breakouts using this.

When one of my favorite body products changed formulas to include macadamia nut oil, I became aware of it's moisturizing properties. With frequent dry and irritated skin, it was a must for me to try. I really enjoy it! If I use just a small amount and rub it in, it absorbs quickly enough. I hadn't noticed any scent with mine. I'm hoping for a longer shelf life than Almond oil, which I will not be using anymore because my roller blends would go bad before I could use them up.

I received this Macadamia Nut Oil as a part of one of the Grab Bags. It is pretty much exactly as described and I appreciate that. This is not an oil I would purchase on its own because like the description says its heavier than most and has a nutty scent. I find the sent to be rather unpleasant and strong. Its not nutty per se'. I use this oil to soften and moisturize my hands and it works pretty well. Prior to use I spritz a bit of Plant Therapy Rose Hydrosol so that my hands can absorb some of that along with the oil. A little of the oil goes a long way. I gently rub in both for several minutes. It is relaxing. I blot off the excess oil with a cloth or paper towel. I also use it to put on a scar in hope of lessening the appearance. Even though I'm not crazy about this oil I gave it four stars because the product description was spot on.
