Its fresh, grounding aroma is a favorite for meditation practices thanks to its ability to simultaneously help calm the mind and uplift the spirit. When used topically, Juniper Berry CO2 can help naturally tone and rejuvenate skin, and aid in keeping skin clear of blemishes and irritation. Its warming properties may also help soothe sore muscles after a strenuous workout; simply dilute in your favorite carrier oil and massage into areas of concern to support muscle relaxation and comfort.
The extract obtained from the berries of Juniperus communis is thick and honey-like, making it very difficult to work with and nearly impossible to pour from a bottle. To make this into a workable product for diffusion, topical applications, and DIYs, the natural fragrance fixative ingredient triethyl citrate has been added. This gentle, biodegradable ingredient helps to thin out Juniper Berry CO2, making it mobile enough to use in a variety of ways. However, if you are having trouble getting this extract out of the bottle, gently warm the bottle in the palm of your hands to increase the extract's mobility.
