Hemp Seed Carrier Oil
Country of Origin:
Hemp Seed Oil has a slightly nutty scent.
Typical of many carrier oils.
Hemp Seed Oil is considered to be the most nutritional oils available. High in omega fatty acids and proteins, makes Hemp Seed oil beneficial for culinary use and to use as a dietary supplement. Our Unrefined Hemp Seed Oil is dark in color and rich in flavor.
It is extracted mechanically without the use of chemicals, preservatives or additives, and cold pressed at low temperatures. It is then filtered to remove any natural suspended solids.
One tablespoon of hemp seed oil (15 ml) provides:

Initially I was swayed toward the Hemp oil because of its striking profile of healthy components. If nothing else, it would be healthy for skin. The dark oil is slightly heavy with a nutty/ earthy scent which quickly becomes subdued on skin. It wipes off into the skin easily and leaves a scant residue. I applied about two teaspoons to the brittle ends of my color-treated hair and allowed it to rest for about five minutes. Then shampooed and conditioned as usual. The ends of my hair are SOFT! and there is a deeper sheen to the rest. Very pleased! I have yet to use the oil in the kitchen but soon. All in all, a worthy oil with multiple advantages. A great addition to your "tool chest."

I got into essential oils as a way to help with arthritis pain. I've tried several different carrier oils without noticing much of a difference. When I used Hemp Seed Oil in my pain blend, I had a sudden increase in mobility and a decrease in pain. There was a sudden cold front with lots of heavy rain. I think it's the new oil.
