Happy Trails was created to make traveling easier for your dogs and horses. Often times, our four-legged friends can experience motion sickness during travel. The scent of this blend is soothing to an upset stomach while also comforting to your animals so they stay calm and worry-free.
Diffuse using 1-2 drops per 100 mL of water for 5-10 minutes every few hours. This blend can also be used at low levels in our Diffuse on the Move diffuser.

For topical application dilute to 0.25-2% depending on your animal's species and weight. Apply the diluted blend to the abdomen taking care to avoid any sensitive areas.

When using essential oils with animals it is important to create a positive association with the oil. You can do this by applying the oil to yourself for the first few days of usage. This will allow your animal to begin to associate the blend with his/her person. When you are ready to apply the blend to your animal or begin active diffusion you can reinforce the positive experience by doing something they love like giving them their favorite treat or using a massage application before bedtime.

This blend is intended for use with dogs and horses only. Do not diffuse around or use this blend topically on cats, birds, reptiles, rodents, etc.

4.0 5  Happy Pups, Happy mom!

I won this as a part of a gift set and I tried to use on the pup diffuser but both of them would freak and yank it off. However, when I diffused it the dogs didn't mind. The older pups anxiety seemed to have calmed quite a bit. Sadly my diffuser broke and he is going nuts when it's not diffused.

5.0 5  Use it!!!

On our last camping trip with our pups my fiance' picked me up from work with the dogs in tow. I asked him to use this right before loading them up...well he forgot...about halfway through the trip I remarked at how well our new 5 month old Great Dane/Rottweiler puppy was doing on her first major car ride. I asked if he had remembered the Happy Trails.....the answer was NO. Within 1 minute I found out that she gets carsick...in my center console. The trip back home on the other hand we remembered it and we did not have any carsickness. Do not forget the happy trails so mama can be happy on the trip as well!!!!

5.0 5  Barfley Barfs No More

We love our beagle Barley, but he has definitely, and reliably, earned his nickname "Barfley". Half mile to the park? Barf. 5 minutes to doggy day care? Barf. Two hours to camping? Barf, Barf, Barf! So when I saw that PT had come out with a blend for relieving car sickness, I just had to try it. To date, the only thing that had worked for the poor guy was a very pricey prescription medicine that really just knocks him out. So after a couple of days putting the diluted oils on myself, it was time to try it with Barley. I rubbed some on his ears and down his back about 30 minutes before our car ride. SUCCESS! No drooling, no barfing, and best of all no looks of misery at every turn. We've successfully taken him in the car a half dozen times since then....and no Barf. Unheard of with this dog! Thanks, PT, for a great solution to Barley's car sickness. Now, if you've got something to address his other nickname (Barkley).....

recommend  Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
