Ginger Lily, or hedichium roots, are grown by farmers in rural mountain areas of Himachal Pradesh, 1500-2500 meters above sea level. Grown from February to April, the annual production is only 2-3 tons, making this a rare oil. Also known as Kapoor Kachri or Sanna Oil, Ginger Lily is created through the steam distillation of the dried rhizome. Known for its fresh, spicy ginger, slightly powdery scent with camphorous undertone and its ability to support healthy digestion and help soothe occasional stomach upset, Ginger Lily is also great for supporting healthy hair growth. This oil adds a warm and spicy touch to aromatic blends.
Aromatic: Diffuse using 2-3 drops per 100 mL of water or use in a personal inhaler. Topical: Dilute to a maximum of 1% in a carrier.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.
