Frankincense Serrata essential oil, also known as Olibanum, is steam distilled from the gum resin of the tree. It has been used for thousands of years by native peoples as an incense, medicine, and in cosmetics.
For a blend that will help promote clear breathing, add 3 drops Frankincense Serrata, 2 drops Eucalyptus Globulus, 1 drop Rosemary, and 1 drop Spruce or Fir Needle in the diffuser. Frankincense Serrata is highly prized as a meditative, mind-clearing oil, so for a supportive blend add 4 drops Frankincense Serrata, 3 drops Sandalwood, and 1 drop of Cedarwood, Cypress, or Patchouli to a diffuser.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

3.0 5  Tastes Like Black Licorice

Well, if you're going to be putting it on your tongue for its amazing healing properties, just know that is tastes like black licorice. (Maybe that's delicious for you...and if not--DON'T MOVE! Just don't move your tongue from the roof of your mouth for some minutes. The flavor washes away from the tongue quickly with some water or tea afterward.

5.0 5  Great oil

This is my first time using frankincense, and I'm happy with this oil! The smell is very woodsy, and quite I always combine it with other oils. So far, I just diffuse it and I am really enjoying it. I haven't gotten brave enough to apply it topically yet, as the scent it is so strong...but I will soon! I have not tried the other varieties of frankincense yet, but I hope to in the future!

5.0 5  Great Stuff Altogether

They were out of the organic version of this once so I purchased the not organic. They say they don't use pesticides so I purchased the cheaper one. I purchase the not organic pachouli and it does the job for my eczema. Frankincense errata, however is best when organic, stronger for some reason. I use it for warts, others use it for cancer. Don't mess around with using the not organic. I noticed it wasn't as effective. It makes them visible and I think one fell off. I've had them on my feet for over 20 years before I realized I had them and they weren't calluses. Dozens of them. They were buried by calluses. With the Frankincense I can begin to treat them, a slow process. You have to be able to see them before using other treatment and I will always use this on my feet, slow process.
