Frankincense Serrata essential oil, also known as Olibanum, is steam distilled from the gum resin of the tree. It has been used for thousands of years by native peoples as an incense, medicine, and in cosmetics.
For a blend that will help promote clear breathing, add 3 drops Frankincense Serrata, 2 drops Eucalyptus Globulus, 1 drop Rosemary, and 1 drop Spruce or Fir Needle in the diffuser. Frankincense Serrata is highly prized as a meditative, mind-clearing oil, so for a supportive blend add 4 drops Frankincense Serrata, 3 drops Sandalwood, and 1 drop of Cedarwood, Cypress, or Patchouli to a diffuser.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

I have painful rheumatoid arthritis. Plant Therapy suggested I try Frankincense. I was amazed at the difference I felt after putting it on my hands for just a few days! I put it on every night or when my hands or knees are swollen. I am so grateful to Plant Therapy for their help. They have great customer service. I have bought many other essential oils from them, and most of my purchases have been on sale or with a coupon, put that on top of Plant Therapy's already great prices, and it is VERY affordable. I have told many friends about Plant Therapy who love them now too!

I have been using this oil on my daughter's one year old scar from two separate brain tumor removals. The scar is fading. Fading away almost completely!! We use this mixed with Lemon and a carrier oil and the scar looks unbelievable! She is currently on her last weeks of a year long Chemo treatment regiment. She is doing wonderfully and has been nothing but on the upswing for a while now. We did a lot of research on Frankincense and Cancer. I am still thankful for the amazing difference it made on the outside!! We also use it on and for everything! My daughter's MRI came back TUMOR FREE!!!! There was a pesky little spot that showed in her last few MRI's. On June 11th, it was GONE! It also showed some of her scar tissue on her brain seemed to be dissolving as well. Her 5 1/2 inch scar on the back of her head is now faded down to a little less than 5 inches and is barely recognizable!!! Plant Therapy products are THE REAL DEAL!!!!! I fully and 100% believe Plant Therapy's Frankincense oil gave that final push to her Cancer free MRI!

I've been putting this (diluted) on my acne for about a week, and my face is almost completely cleared up now. Smells good too.

I bought this for my sister, who has arthritis. This oil has been very helpful to her. The only drawback is that the serrata variety does not smell as good as carteri. It has more of a turpentine smell.
