This is hands down one of our *very* Favorite new oils! Fragonia is a shrub native to Western Australia which grows to a height of about 8 feet (2.5 meters). When in bloom, the branches are covered with clouds of snowy white petals surrounding a pink center ring. Fragonia is often compared to its more famous Australian counterpart, Tea Tree essential oil, though its scent is often remarked on as "softer" and "sweeter" than Tea Tree.
This powerhouse oil is unsurpassed when used for supporting respiratory health, whether due to seasonal pollen concerns or respiratory "yuckies" that get passed from person to person in wintertime. Fragonia can also be helpful in soothing chapped, red areas on the body and as a spot treatment for teenage or hormonal skin.
Further, it's a wonderful aid for the discomforts that accompany over-extertion at the gym or the normal wear and tear felt by those with aging joints. Dr Daniel Penoel, longtime aromatherapy expert had praised Fragonia for its ability to help promote deep relaxation before sleep.
An interesting fact about Fragonia is that it contains almost equal parts of three components families: monoterpenes, Oxides, and monoterpenols. This is rarely seen with other essential oils, and accounts for its wide-ranging applications for use.
In an aromatherapy inhaler, here is a KidSafe blend: Combine 5 drops Frangonia, 4 drops Fir Needle, OR Black Spruce, and 3 drops Sweet Orange essential oils to help promote clear breathing. The same blend with 2 drops Fragonia, 2 drops Sweet Orange can be used in the diffuser.
After a strenuous gym workout, combine 6 drops Fragonia, 5 drops Peppermint, 3 drops Juniper Berry, 3 drops Black Pepper, and 1 drop Ginger CO2 essential oils in once of carrier oil for a soothing, relaxing rub.
For a blend designed to promote relaxation before bedtime, place 3 drops Fragonia, 2 drops Roman Chamomile, and 1 drop Mandarin in the diffuser.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

I debated this oil for a while and finally decided to get it during the Labor Day sale. I am SO glad I did! It smells like a mild eucalyptus to me. With children under 10 in the home, I am excited to have this oil for it's anti-germ and anti-congestion properties to safely use for my whole family. I love the smell, and it has quickly become a favorite!

Helps sore muscles, smells calm and relaxing. Used on a badly sprained and bruised ankle and improved it very quickly.
