Earth Day is almost here!
On April 22nd, people across the world channel their energy into showing appreciation for the unique and incredible planet we all share. Earth Day may only come along once a year, but it’s truly a year-round job to protect and preserve our planet!
Here at Plant Therapy, we’re committed to the long-term sustainability of our environment. As a company, we’re passionate about helping conserve our precious natural resources and reducing environmental pollution. By doing this, we’re helping to conserve biodiversity, ensuring that our natural landscapes and their ecosystems are maintained and intact for generations to come.
Does it surprise anyone that the popularity of essential oils is increasing rapidly?
With such a high demand, you might be wondering what kind of impact this is having on the environment. Essential oils are, after all, derived from the very biodiversity we are claiming to want to protect!
As a socially-conscious company, Plant Therapy respects the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), which is the global authority on the status of the natural world and the measures needed to safeguard it.
We also know exactly where our product’s come from. Before we even obtain a sample, we need to know everything about the farmer, distiller, or supplier. We need to know their background, reputation, commitment to quality, and commitment to the industry. Then, after this meets our satisfaction, we can move on to the oil.
And, just in time for Earth Day, we are proud to announce that Plant Therapy is now the first essential oil brand powered entirely through renewable energy! We are also the first essential oil brand to be part of the EPA’s Green Power Partnership, a voluntary program that encourages organizations to use green power as a way to reduce the environmental impacts associated with conventional electricity use. Cool, right?
This year we are also partnering with “The Canopy Project.” For every $25 dollar spent, we will donate $1. Each dollar will go toward planting a tree! The more trees on our planet, the more healthy we will all be now and far into the future.
We hope you will join us in celebrating Earth Day! Not just for one day, but every day. The world belongs to all of us! We all have the power to make both little and big changes that forge a lasting positive impact.
