Cypress essential oil can be used to help support a healthy respiratory system. Diffuse Cypress into the air to help ease breathing. It can be used to ease swollen tissue in the legs and anal area and it is also useful in a deodorant. Emotionally, Cypress is a wonderful oil in helping deal with loss or grief; inhaling or diffusing cypress can help soothe the emotions. Like the tall, strong Cypress tree, the oil can support emotional strength.
For a homemade deodorant, add equal parts of Cypress, Sandalwood and Lavender to your favorite carrier oil.

To ease swelling in the anal area, soak a cotton pad in ¼ cup witch hazel with 2 drops of Cypress Essential Oil, wring out, and tuck in between the buttocks for a soothing feeling.

The same solution can be applied to the “spider” veins that are a normal part of aging; add 2 drops each of Juniper Berry and Cypress Essential Oils to ½ cup witch hazel, dip a cotton pad or washcloth in the mixture, wring out, and lay on the affected areas as a compress, while elevating the legs.

The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

Light and powerful

This has a great light scent if you enjoy "tree" scents. I use this for my carpal tunnel, sore muscles, and for inflammation in my joints. It's very effective.

Wonderful for Homemade Deoderant

I got this wonderful oil for homemade deodorant. It smells lovely with lavender and manuka. I also love this in a personal diffuser necklace, 1 drop cypress and 1 drop fragonia. It smells lovely and keeps my sinuses clear!!

Cypress Oil

Oh man, this is the best! Better than eucalyptus and right up there with Frankincense. If you're searching for a pine, evergreen, frankincense-type scent this is it. I add it to my body lotion for everyday use just because it's calming. I Love it! Diffused or applied topically, it's an excellent oil.
