Cedarwood Virginian is actually a species of Juniper tree, as reflected in its Latin name. It has an aroma similar to a freshly sharpened pencil, although it is more complex. Cedarwood Virginian is popularly used in products formulated for men, due to its woodsy, outdoor scent.
Cedarwood Virginian is an excellent oil to add to a cream or lotion and rub on the chest to soothe seasonal respiratory problems.

Along with Juniper Berry or Cypress, it’s a great oil to add to a leg rub or foot bath to help ease congestion in the legs and feet.

Cedarwood Virginian Essential Oil has been used in cosmetic preparations to help balance oily skin. For topical applications, dilute up to 1% for face and 4% for body.

The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

This statement has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Bottles are filled by volume. Some bottle sizes may not be filled to the top, but do contain the volume of oil specified.

5.0 5  Love it

I love the smell! I am diffusing it now to help with some congestion my teen daughter is having. I also plan to use it for soap making for a more "manly" scent or to help shut my mind down at the end of the day.

4.0 5  Thumbs Up

I had received a different cedarwood (I believe with a grab bag). I ended up making a trade with a friend for the Virginian and I love it. This has a sweet woodsy smell to it.

5.0 5  Smells like the Country

I'm from Virginia. Born and raised here all my life, so I just had to have this "Virginia Cedarwood" oil. Homes in our area are lined with cedars down their driveway and smelling this oil is just like driving through the country in the spring. I also think Cedarwood has a "manly" smell to it. So when I make hand scrubs or "cologne" for my husband, Cedarwood is one of my go tos. Also, sprinkle some on your dog's bedding to keep fleas away. (Be careful though, because some pets Cedar isn't good for.)

5.0 5  I like it!

This is my favorite cedarwood. I like the smell of this one the best and I use it for sleep in a roller ball. It seems to really help shut my mind off. It's also good for coughs and congestion.
