Cedarwood Virginian is actually a species of Juniper tree, as reflected in its Latin name. It has an aroma similar to a freshly sharpened pencil, although it is more complex. Cedarwood Virginian is popularly used in products formulated for men, due to its woodsy, outdoor scent.
Cedarwood Virginian is an excellent oil to add to a cream or lotion and rub on the chest to soothe seasonal respiratory problems. Along with Juniper Berry or Cypress, it’s a great oil to add to a leg rub or foot bath to help ease congestion in the legs and feet. It has been used in cosmetic preparations to help balance oily skin.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.

Great for Insomnia

This is my favorite cedarwood scent. It reminds me of a campfire. I started diffusing it at night and can't believe how much better I am sleeping at night. I will always be sure to have this oil in stock.

I love this oil! Very woodsy and warm. I have been diffusing it daily with several other EOs including bergamot, orange, and lavender. My house smells wonderful and feels so much calmer.
